The Casa Diaz is located in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. Designed by Productora. The building was taken from the relationship with the environment, the system volume used elongated rectangle, with one side of each is completely open to the lake. Productora utilizing sloping plot and the number of surfaces that will be realized led to the creation of three volumes which are stacked in a zigzag pattern, resulting in a large open terrace and irregular, sheltered terrace between them. Asona Benelux BV was designed by I Love Architecture. The building is an enclosed warehouse storage areas, designed to maximize the amount of storage space. The building is also maximized for office space with fantastic views of the River Amstel and meadows beyond.  Casa Folha House Shaped Leaves Up by Mareines and Patalano

Mareines and Patalano has designed a house-shaped leaves up out of the landscape of Brazil, named ‘Casa Folha’. This house consists of: part six contains a large central atrium, an open two-story porch and some parts of personal space and shared within. Interior with wood floors and smooth walls with concealed lighting such as lamps, all of which looks like an interesting work of nature. Folha Casa is located on the coast south of Rio de Janeiro.

‘ Cathedral Fold’ is a place of worship located in Strasbourg, France and has a subtle design characteristics dramatically. New architecture of Axis Mundi York office has created a new and contemporary place of worship, among the folds of glazed concrete roof, cathedral open to the north and south, supplying generous volume of light to interior spaces. Below the ground surface is placed a damper layout and floor plans of the cross linked to other sites. Concrete foundation folds accent the room with a rhythmic way. Designer is also designing a low-angle ramp that serves to lead the visitors to the cathedral. (more…)

This house displays a variety of elements with the appearance of two separate occupancies. The building is located in Caledon, Ontario, Canada and designed by Ian MacDonald Architect. Designers focus on the view the house on the prairie. There is a pond in the landscape that creates the sound of running water and for connecting new dwellings to historic settlements there is a road along the banks of the creek. The house is located in Bosschenhoofd. Designed by ONIX Architects and named chimney house. Have a simple major volume with a rectangular floor plan and roof Saddleback. On the ground floor, the volume with transverse roof appears to balance on two feet short, first floor has a character that is more remote in order to resist the warmth from the outside. Bedrooms and other rooms have windows which borders a small room, interior-oriented transparent exterior, big terrace adjacent to the house just outside the wood-shaded area on the west side. Frame on the ground floor is formed by a row of balusters that interact with the growing stem beech hedging and there is a beautiful three-dimensional effects arise when looking at the surrounding of this point of view. The building is equipped with a fireplace, kitchen blocks, stairs, toilets, shower, etc. all realized to fit the width of a board of 20 cm. (more…)
