Evolved from a strict interpretation of the planning code to require new homes to have a pitched roof. Birrelli Architects‘ have designed Lagoon Beach House, a special island retreat, a place to live together and experience the holidays. Lagoon Beach House is a modernist in the program is still a reference to the vernacular of contemporary Tasmanian shack shack. Consists of the main living room, master bedroom and study efficiently plan all on the first floor for the convenience of two. Buildings do not isolate ourselves from the natural environment, one with nature in a way similar sculpture, and art evoke associations with the land. The geometry of the upper level of pure wood with carefully set in the trees but not on top of them, the light is achieved by high windows, the staircase atrium and lower openings with screens and perforated circular – so that its motion effect is created to provide a variety of sensual and intimate relationship between building and nature.
