Chicken Point Cabin In A Rural Area Of Northern Idaho By Olson Kundig Architects
This is the Chicken Point Cabin shelters in rural areas in northern Idaho with the concept of an open design with natural scenery. Designed by Olson Kundig Architects with the basic concept that is composed of three parts, thinking about the entrance of the 19-foot high steel, the selection of materials for low-maintenance concrete block, steel, concrete floors and plywood-line with the idea of the cabin, a large window-wall cabins (30 feet by 20 feet). There is a fireplace that has a steel staircase that serves as a ladder that appears to the pseudo-third-floor attic. The interior space is open with large window-wall that opens up the whole cabin living space into the forest and natural settings.
