Mountain House in The Pyrenees of Spain Design By Cadaval & Solà-Morales
This home is located on the mountain in a former farm building, the Pyrenees of Spain and has windows on one side and windows overlooking the valley high in the pointy end of affording views up the mountain. Designed by architect Cadaval & Solà-Morales , with the aim of changing into second place comfortable and utilitarian.
The roof unit is built on a continuous element to focus light sculpture, a neutral view, lighting, and views, while for the lower level was opened wide with off-scale. Vernacular architecture with respect not only the envelope, but also construction, operation logic and aesthetics, thus strengthening the historical values of vernacular architecture to make homes sustainable home in the Pyrenees two extreme climate.
