“Museo del Agua (Water Museum)” Located in Palencia, Spain By MID Estudio
“Museo del Agua (Water Museum)” is a project that aims to rejuvenate the Docklands area and is built on gross internal floor area 654.73 m2. Located in Palencia (Spain), the building is divided into three distinct areas include: reception area with the administration and service, temporary exhibition area and a permanent gallery, incorporating elements of light holes as a means to distinguish the internal functions of different buildings, adding a small canteen to museum. Addition of wood and metal material at the entrance of the small window of space for people to relax and absorb the atmosphere of the museum. Refurbishment project of the “Museo del Agua (Water Museum)” wa s designed by MID Estudio: David Serrano Amatriain and Maier Vélez Olabarria and total cost € 1,199,073.22.
