The building is located in between the pages private walled and protected live oak tree, this structure is formed in a compact 2-story building, Texas, USA. Inspired from a sustainable lifestyle is also reflected in their decision to live centrally and work from home, all in modest-sized footprint. Alter Studio Architect has designed a “Bouldin Residence” presents an aesthetic that happened to be involved in many guises, in which the board-formed concrete, wood floors and recycled coarse vertical cedar siding.
Interior of the house consists of: the rooms are designed to provide intimacy and expansive, comfortable media room sitting in the middle of the floor under the house, while the upstairs office / studio stretches along the house and open on both ends to continue the sense of broad and engaging views of downtown, and equipped with a set window, skylights and glass floors. Buildings have rainwater collection systems, solar photovoltaic arrays, solar pool heating tubes, reflective TPO roof, cellular foam insulation, tankless water heaters, etc..
