The bridge that connects north and south coast and provide better access for business and jobs in this area was designed by Expedition Engineering. Bowstring bridge the slender silhouette of a typical cut across the River Tees, with a 230m long road, supported by a pair of asymmetrical steel arches that appear to cross the river like a pebble across the water darken. It was amazing.

The lighting for the Infinity Bridge is designed in such a way that reflects the twin icons of the curve in the water at night to form the mathematical infinity symbol – the name. Designed by Speirs and Major Associates, UK design, lights mounted on the outriggers away from the pedestrian bridge that does not recognize equipment or disturbed by glare. The existence of cold white light is used to express the structural form and create a sense of drift waves floating just above the deck. Designer blue light reflects off the water to illuminate the belly of the deck and form a blue zone on the water, and the combination of blue and white LED unit hidden beneath the surface of the handle and along the deck, the light is programmed to respond to the presence of people, signal oncomers approach, guiding them down the way. There is a sensor triggers a change from blue to white, leaving the ‘comet trail’ at the pedestrian light ‘wake up, when people cross this bridge. No wonder if this bridge won the Supreme Award for Structural Engineering Excellence globally to more than 100 entries.
