Tree Hotel in Harads, northern Sweden
Tham & Videgård Arkitekter has designed a ‘Tree Hotel’, about how humans relate to nature, exploring remote places in the harsh climate (Mr Gore-Tex, Kevlar, composite materials, light tent etc). Structure 4x4x4 meter cube-shaped building is accessible by rope bridges, and reflects the surrounding forest, and sky. Located in Harads, northern Sweden. Interior plywood is designed to accommodate two people, which contains a double bed, bathroom, living room and roof terrace, and to prevent the bird collided with reflective glass, transparent ultraviolet colors layered into the glass panel.
